About Us

Silver Years is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We provide wide range of adult day care programs and services that will fulfill the needs of active seniors. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for our participants with carefully designed services and comprehensive care embracing the Mind, the Body and the Spirit. Silver Years is committed to delivering the best adult care practices in the Portland Metro area, the surrounding counties and the state of Oregon.

OUR SERVICES

We are opening our doors for in-person services on August 2nd, 2021, Monday. Please call (503) 641 1575 to schedule your tour.

NURSING SERVICES

Silver Years have professional nursing RNs and LPNs on site on a daily basis. These are highly qualified, caring staff members who are able to assist our participants with all medical needs, such as insulin injections and other medication administration.

TRANSPORTATION

SILVER YEARS provide many services to our community including door-to-door transportation for seniors and adults to the center. We provide bus transportation from participant’s home to the facility and back in a safe and friendly manner upon request. Transportation of participants with disabilities is offered as well as regular services.

NUTRITIOUS MEALS

We believe meals should provide an opportunity to make participants feel like home. Center is serving full continental breakfast and hot lunch, as well as meal breaks with the served tea, coffee and desserts. Our cooks are following the doctor’s guidance for the participants: low sodium/no sodium and diabetic diet options are offered.

ACTIVITIES

Staying active and supporting well being is one of our passions here at SILVER YEARS adult day care program. That’s why our members join us every day. Our caregivers design activities suitable for every participant.

Meet our staff

Alina is a registered nurse at Silver Years Adult Daycare. She finished nursing school at Clark College in December 2019. She went on to obtain her baccalaureate in nursing from Boise State University and completed that in December 2020. Alina was born in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, and moved to the United States when she was 3 years old. Alina is married to Ruslan and they have one daughter named Heidi Rose. Alina enjoys spending time with family, reading, arts and crafts, and being outdoors.
